Hey There,
Something about autumn and how we dress makes this season, and us with it, look like a scene from our favorite film. Leaves on the ground, trees going to sleep, sun & rain altogether, windy cool weather, crispy mornings, heads tucked in collars, hands fidgeting in pockets, sipping hot drinks in bohemian artsy or posh bars, hot coffees to go on rushed cold mornings, and us starring in all these scenes, almost always wearing SWEATERS! Ya Sweaters are always back in tread this autumn and you really don’t need to worry about you budget girls while shopping for them. As you can refer to my Brand Article for teens Sweaters has been in Indian tradition of clothing very winter/spring. Here at TSS, check out how I m styling it for the season, if you like you can steal my look from today’s blog post.
I remember growing up to how much I used to hate wearing any type of sweater that my mom used to lay out for me. I felt it made me look like a tiny bug about to explode. You could spot me from 1 mile away, in my always so colored and bright patterned Indian themed sweaters even when winter was long way ahead, scratching my neck from the itchy fabric, sweating my heart out, because I never felt cold that much, and au contraire. But my mom… bless her, lives by the saying ‘better safe than sorry’, so dress up kid, and sweat your heart out. If I’m cold you’re cold.
Trend wise – today – seems to me that all is in. Sort of. If last autumn bright sweaters styles were massive, today it’s more about pastels, monochromatic sweaters, softer fabrics, muted colors (grey, whites, blues, pinks), with chunky, cable knit and oversized designs still running the show. So basically it’s just the wild prints that are a bit dated, but even those I think are great. If you are Teen and Young you really don’t need to worry about it burning a hole in your pocket.
I believe every Indian family woman know this art of knitting Sweaters, the colorful design is not that bad if you see what I m wearing. I found this sweater from a nearby store sale. This pattern Sweater jacket I guess is very common in India. You may find in flee or at Store, team them up with shorts, leggings, boots, leg warmers and create your whole new look at school or college. You are the trend and you can set the trend by bringing back the Sweater in Action.
Now you know this style are in the season then lets make this autumn by spinning and dyeing colorful yarn. Most people want these sweaters with zippers which you can put by hand or machine. Many DIY on YouTube will give you an idea on how to make your own sweater, its always pocket friendly to style a Sweater. Tag us #theseasonstyle with your favorite Sweater style this autumn and until then wear what is in The Season Style.
Happy Knitting and Autumn/Spring to all.
